The problem

Utah County has more than 250 landscaping companies competing across 101 square miles. Most customers never look past the map pack, and 76.4% of the 250 we tracked have no map presence at all. Utah Valley Landscaping was one of them.
01

Local competition

Only 59 of the 250 tracked companies show up in the map pack at all. Getting into that group took a systematic local SEO program.
02

Technical foundation

Thin content and poor technical SEO left hundreds of service-area keywords untapped.
03

Authority

A weak backlink profile made ranking for competitive terms in a trust-driven industry nearly impossible.
04

Search strategy

Keyword clusters, content gaps and competitive positioning were unmapped. The business had no clear picture of where to invest.

We rebuilt the site and fixed the search system behind it

  • 01

    Website rebuild

Full rebuild with modern architecture, mobile-first templates and structured data. Crawl efficiency, indexation, page speed and schema markup were addressed as one technical program.

  • 02

    Content strategy

A sustained publishing program: service-area guides, seasonal landscaping content and locally relevant resources. Keyword clusters were mapped against competitor gaps across the full service list.

  • 03

    Authority building

Hundreds of high Domain Rating backlinks acquired through partnerships, local citations, industry directories and digital PR. The resulting link profile surpassed every tracked competitor.

  • 04

    Local SEO

Google Business Profile optimization, NAP consistency across directories, citation building and a review generation program covering the 101-square-mile service area, Draper to Santa Clara.

The results

More traffic. More search visibility. More local presence.
